About us

Founded in 1996 in Derventa, Bosnia and Herzegovina, SZR DADO began as a small leather goods workshop producing handbags and accessories. Over the years, the company shifted its focus to manufacturing high-quality shoe uppers, steadily growing into a trusted supplier for the European footwear industry.

What started with just two employees and four sewing machines has evolved into a business employing 60 skilled professionals, producing up to 500 pairs daily across three production lines. The company’s growth has been built on a foundation of dedication, craftsmanship, and a strong commitment to fair labor practices, including timely payment of wages and full social contributions.

SZR DADO specializes in the production of upper shoe parts and collaborates closely with well-established European brands, such as Think!, Tamaris etc.

With 100% of its production exported, primarily to Austria (75%) and Italy (25%) — the company generates over 1 million BAM in annual revenue. The team’s technical expertise and experience, many of whom were formerly employed by the renowned Demos factory, are considered the company’s most valuable asset.

Looking ahead, SZR DADO continues to align its plans with market demands and partner expectations. Thanks to its adaptability, highly trained workforce, and commitment to quality, the company is well-prepared to meet the challenges of the evolving footwear industry.

SZR DADO also values its cooperation with the local community, which has consistently supported its development, whether through infrastructure improvements or responsive local governance. This collaboration reinforces the company’s mission to remain a stable, reliable, and responsible manufacturer for the European market.

The "Captain Miša Anastasijević" award is a prestigious annual recognition presented to outstanding individuals, entrepreneurs, and institutions across the region.
